At Bronx Community, we're proud to offer affordable or free afterschool programming to support our families and enrich our students' lives. Our program provides a safe, engaging, and structured environment for students to thrive after the school day ends.

Program Schedule:

Monday - Thursday:                             

Snack Time: 4:00 PM - 4:20 PM                   Homework Help: 4:20 PM - 5:00 PM

Recreation Time: 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Fridays:

Recreation Time: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Snack Time: 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Special Activities: Fridays are extra special with Movie Days or Clubs, including:

Jewelry Making

Game Room

Art

Technology

Non-Baking Cooking

Afterschool Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 4:00 PM - 5:45 PM

Fridays: 2:00 PM - 5:45 PM Dismissal starts at 5:30 PM daily.

Our after school program roster is determined through a lottery system at the start of the school year. Please note that we reserve the right to remove families from the program in cases of poor attendance or repeated late pick-ups.

Bronx Community is proud to partner with Mosholu Montefiore Community Center (MMCC) to bring outstanding afterschool programming to our middle school students. Open to all 6th-8th grade students, this program is completely free for families and offers a wide range of enriching activities.

Flag Football Season:

This is a co-ed flag football team open to students in 7th and 8th grade.

Season runs from September to November.

Practices: Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:10 PM - 5:30 PM.

Games: Saturdays. 

Soccer Season (6th - 8th Grade):

Our middle school co-ed soccer team welcomes students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades to join the action.

Season runs from April to early June.

Practices: Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:10 PM - 5:30 PM.

Games: Monday through Friday. 

Summer Football & Soccer Practice

We offer weekly football and soccer training sessions throughout the month of August for any students looking to get extra practice in a fun and supportive environment.

Whether you're sharpening your skills in August or playing through the seasons, we can't wait to see you on the field!
